Amtrak expanded free wireless Internet access to 12 additional East Coast routes

Amtrak expanded free wireless Internet access to 12 additional East Coast routes, including Northeast Regional service connecting Boston,New York and Washington, D.C., as well as New York-Albany-Buffalo and New York-Philadelphia-Harrisburg, Pa., routes "As a result, trains that carry nearly 60 percent of all Amtrak passengers now have Wi-Fi connections," according to Amtrak. The rail operator by year-end expects to cover 75 percent of all passengers after Wi-Fi rollouts to select California routes.
