What is the promotion? How does it work?
Sign up for a Serve® account (subject to approval) and when you load $25 or more via a checking account, savings account, debit card, credit card or MoneyPak® on or before December 31, 2012, Serve will provide a one-time $25 credit to your Serve account. You must sign up through serve.com/load25 to receive the offer. MoneyPak purchase fees of up to $4.95 may apply. Cash advance fees for credit card loads may apply; please check with your credit card issuer for details. Additional terms and conditions apply; see serve.com/load25 for full details.
How long is the offer valid?
Once you sign up for a Serve account (subject to approval), you have through December 31, 2012 to complete a qualifying load from your funding source. In some instances it may take several days for added funds to post to your account, so please allow sufficient time for that process to occur.
What funding source can I use to fund my account in order to qualify for the offer?
You can fund via checking account, savings account, debit card, credit card (MasterCard®, Visa®, or American Express® Cards) (cash advance fees may apply for credit card loads; please check with your credit card issuer for details) or add cash with a MoneyPak® (MoneyPak purchase fees of up to $4.95 may apply). Serve does not currently charge fees for adding money; please see the Schedule of Fees in the Serve Consumer User Agreement for details.
If I load my account by requesting funds from a friend, will I still qualify for the offer?
Only amounts loaded via checking account, savings account, debit card, credit card (MasterCard®, Visa®, or American Express® Cards) or MoneyPak® will satisfy the $25 funding requirement.
Once I load my account, how long will it take to credit my account?
Serve will credit your new Serve account $25 within thirty (30) days after you fund the account with $25 or more and meet the offer criteria noted in the full terms and conditions, available at serve.com/load25.
How will I know when the credit has been applied to my account?
The credit will appear in your Serve account. Visit Serve.com and log in to your account.
Can I load several times to meet the load level?
No, you must meet or exceed the load amount $25 or more in a single Add Money transaction to receive the offer.
If I establish subaccounts and fund those subaccounts with $25 or more, will Serve credit each subaccount $25?
No, unfortunately the $25 credit is a one-time credit that will only be deposited in the primary Serve account provided the qualifications are met.
I am a subaccount holder, can I receive the offer?
Unfortunately as a subaccount holder, you are not eligible for this offer.
I already have a Serve account. Can I receive the offer?
The offer applies only to new Serve customers that sign up through the offer. Neither current nor former Serve account holders may receive the offer.
I signed up for an account, but I haven't received my verification email. What do I do?
The Serve account verification email should arrive in your email inbox within 30 minutes of registration. If it has not arrived, the first step is to check your spam folder or junk mail. The email is valid for seven days. If you still have not received the verification, you can log into your Serve account and request a new email verification by clicking on "Resend Email" on your Serve account dashboard. Still having trouble? Call Serve customer service at 1-800-954-0559.
When will I get my new Serve card in the mail so I can activate it?
You should receive your Serve card within 7-10 business days after you register. Although we'll try our very best to get it to you sooner!
How do I activate my Serve card?
Have your card in hand and visit serve.com/activate or call 1-800-597-0184. Follow the prompts to activate your card and then it is ready for use on purchases.
What can I do with the Serve card?
Serve is a reloadable prepaid account that can be used for everyday purchases everywhere American Express® Cards are accepted in the U.S. With Serve you can also send and receive money by email, text, and Facebook and access your account with the mobile app. Serve has no credit checks, no monthly or annual fees, and no long-term commitments.
Can I make a purchase with my Serve card if I don't have enough available funds in my account to complete my purchase?
If you have a credit card or debit card, checking or savings account linked to your Serve account, the card you have set as your backup funding source will be charged or debited for the remaining balance of your purchase. Please note that cash advance fees may apply for credit card loads; please check with your credit card issuer for details.
I was trying to access my Serve account, but I got locked out because I forgot my password. What do I do?
You can reset your password online at serve.com. Just click "Reset My Password" on the login page and follow the steps. If you cannot successfully reset your password online, you can always call Serve customer service at (800) 954-0559 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
